Commemorative Brick Walk

Friendship Walk

When you stop in to see the renovations and additions made over the past year please take a few moments to stroll the new Friendship Walk and read the wonderful things people chose for the bricks they purchased. Some celebrate the library itself, some commemorate loved ones, and some pertain to reading and the benefits derived from books read and treasured.

Your contribution to Friends of the Cutchogue Library makes many things possible: library furniture, such as the display case in the lobby and the book rack in the main reading room; the changing table, which is such a convenience for mothers and babies; bus trips to New York City; the library tote bags and coffee mugs. The quarterly newsletters and many special children’s programs are also the beneficiaries of financial assistance from the Friends. Wouldn’t you like the satisfaction of being a part of all these worthwhile programs?
Your participation also makes many things possible; in addition to the Annual Book Sale, Friends serve on committees for Books for Babies, art displays in the meeting room, and the annual Holiday Open House Concert, among other activities. Why not join us and have the pleasure of meeting other interesting people and making a contribution to your community.
Just leave your name and contact information at the Circulation Desk and you’ll hear from us saying how happy we are to hear from you!
