Families, join us for a community scavenger hunt! The object is to solve clues that will take you on an adventure through the neighborhoods of Cutchogue & New Suffolk. By the end of the day, bring your completed worksheet back to the Library to enter it into a raffle for a Family Fun Prize Basket. Sign-Up Info: Please reserve your family’s spot by signing up in the Children’s Room in advance. We ask that you donate one of the following when you sign up: a non-perishable food item, a new pair of socks, or unopened pet food. Donations will be distributed to Maureen’s Haven, CAST and North Fork Animal Welfare League.
The Great Give Back Community Breakfast
Saturday, Oct. 14, 10:00–11:00 am
Stop in the Library for coffee and a continental breakfast and chat with some of the local civic and charitable organizations that make the North Fork better for all of us. Learn what these organizations do for our community and find out details on how you can get involved.
Dear Cutchogue and New Suffolk Friends,
Top the Table promises to be the family event of the summer! But we need you to make it a success! The Library invites you to join in the festivities on Saturday, August 13th (6:00pm) on the Library grounds. Enjoy music, dancing, carnival games and other activities for the kids. All proceeds will go directly to benefit your Library.
Feel free to bring your own picnic dinner, or if you prefer, Noah’s Food Truck will be on site selling delicious entries. Additionally, local wine and desserts will be available for purchase.
Tickets are on sale now at the Library: $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Full tables (8-12 people) are available. Let us know who you will be sitting with or if there is a group you would like to sit near and we will be happy to accommodate your request. Smaller groups of 2-6 will be assigned to a group table.
We encourage you to decorate your table with a “theme” as a prize will be given for the “Best Dressed Table!” Each table will be assigned a “Captain” who can work with their tablemates on décor.
Please spread the word, as we hope to see as many of our neighbors as possible on this special evening. Special thanks for the sponsorship support of BNY Mellon Wealth Management for making this event possible.
If you would like me to reserve seats for you or if you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 631-734-6360 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Looking forward to seeing you August 13th!
Jennifer Fowler, Library Director
With Thanksgiving ending comes Christmas music on the radio, and holiday celebrations all around. If you're not celebrating yet, be sure to stop in the Library to see our decorations, check out a holiday book, and share in the holiday spirit with us! Sign up for ginger bread house making with your family or friends, visit Santa with your little ones, even get a picture taken with your dog for the holidays. After all the egg-nog and cookies that follow the holidays, join us for our various workout class options to get in tune with those new years resolutions.
In preparation for the Holidays please join the Friends of the Library for their first ever Baubles & Bling Sale, a jewelry, scarves, and accessory sale to benefit the library. We are excited for the fresh ideas, and to offer new things to our community. The sale will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9:30am-7:00pm & Sunday, Dec. 2 from 1:00-5:00pm. Prices are low, quality is high, and there is something for everyone.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
